The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) is the U.S. law that governs how prescription drugs move through the supply chain. It requires every trading partner — manufacturers, distributors, and dispensers — to be licensed and authorized, to exchange detailed transaction data for each product, and to support tracing medicines down to the unit level.
